PUSH-D (Practice and Use Self-Help for Depression)
PUSH-D (Practice and Use Self-Help for Depression) is a web-based self-care program which is meant to empower individuals by offering a space to learn, strengthen and practice psychological skills that can be useful in dealing with depressive symptoms.
What is PUSH-D?
PUSH-D is a self-help program designed for individuals experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of depression. It incorporates evidence-based approaches and interventions to help manage depressive symptoms PUSH-D consists of two zones: the Essential Zone, containing 10 sections that unlock sequentially, and the Optional Zone, that can be accessed at any time in any order.
PUSH-D may be useful as a standalone approach for individuals with minimal to mild levels of depressive symptoms, if they are able to consistently use and apply the strategies provided. For individuals with more severe symptoms, PUSH-D can be used as a supplement to psychotherapy, in consultation with a mental health professional.
